"Our family bought a house on Lake Cypress Springs back in 2005. We were very lucky to find Burnett Construction to do the remodeling for us before moving in. We were impressed with the quality of their work, their timeliness, and the friendliness of all those who had anything to do with our property. When we decided to renovate again, and expand our home in 2021, we, of course, knew who to call! , we had absolutely no hesitation. We called Mary Lou and David to the task., and did they ever deliver! Again, we were over the moon with the outcome, and continue to be impressed with the professionalism, incredible attention to detail and "can do" attitude that Burnett lives by., even way after the work was completed, and they had been paid in full. There has been no issue they have not been willing to help with, 24/7. Mary Lou is an absolute gem, and we are lucky to call her and David not only our contractors of choice, but also our dear friends over the past 20 years."

"Best decision we ever made! Building a custom home was a fun and rewarding experience! Burnett Construction was highly recommended by local homeowners and contractors. They were great stewards of our money. We stayed in budget, ensuring the custom design and high quality remained. We appreciated special considerations of passing along all the discounts they received. We were hands-on allowing the time and guidance to make decisions and felt comfortable they would welcome any changes. Moving in our beautiful home on time was special bringing with us life-long friends. We are so proud of every sq ft, and the kindness we found along the way. I'd leave 100 stars if I could. They are the only builder I would trust with my dream home. My every detail was considered important. They were a steward of our money and sought the excellence and experience in subcontractors. I felt like a part of the family."

"Burnett Construction brought our dream to life! We met with a builder prior to Burnett, but everything was disjointed. After our first meeting with Burnett, we quickly realized we were in amazing hands. From the blueprint of our home, to the highly organized book detailing specific options, to watching the entire process from dirt work to final inspection, never once did we question our choice in builders! The things you think will be daunting and overwhelming are so smooth in the hands of Burnett Construction. Every question we had was met with a quick response. Every crew that worked on our home were masters at their craft and very professional. Everyone that comes to visit falls in love with every well designed detail. Things we did not think about, Burnett did, and we could not have been more pleased with the outcome. Simply stated, Burnett Construction are just good people who consider your home an extension of their own. "

"We retired a few months ago & purchased a house on Lake Fork. It has been a difficult time dealing with COVID, moving many miles away from family and everything we are familiar with. We contacted Burnett Construction to remodel our new house. From day one, they made us feel comfortable, always ready to answer all questions we may have had. Our small remodel was dealt with the same importance & quality as a new build. Every craftsman they sent to our houses was attentive and provided quality work. Burnett Construction turned our house into our home. I will forever be grateful for their kindness & expert craftsmanship. They are down home people that are now our friends."

"In 1998 we decided to build a lake house at Lake Cypress Springs. We hired two architects to design house plans that would fit on our lot. Because we knew very little about local builders, we ask our architects to inspect new construction projects underway at the lake so that they could help us find the best builder. They were most impressed with the quality and workmanship of Burnett Construction. The architects certainly made the right decision for us because in the 10 years we have lived in our house, the excellence of the construction is the same as it was the day we moved in."

"In 2003 we interviewed four builders to help design and to build our retirement home on Lake Bob Sandlin. We selected Burnett Construction because they projected an image that was business like, helpful, and experienced in building a home on the lake. They assisted us in the design stage to achieve our goal of building a low maintenance, very comfortable home. This was the first home that we had designed and built. Previously, we had purchased spec homes in the Plano area. We heard stories from friends and neighbors that had built in East Texas about poor quality, confrontations during building, cost overruns, and continual problems. Our eleven month construction experience was very pleasurable; in fact it was fun. Even though we built a cost plus house, exclusive of our changes, the house cost about what Burnett estimated. After living here for six years, we have found very little that we would change."

"If you always wanted to build your dream home, look no further than Burnett Construction. From the initial drawings to the last light bulb installed, we never once regretted choosing this great team of experienced builders. During our pre-construction phase, they spent time taking us to their completed homes/boat houses, reviewing drawings and understanding exactly what we wanted. Throughout our construction, they were available to answer questions, provide guidance, and be a friendly voice of reason. We lived 5 hours away and put complete trust in them. They provided daily updates, pictures, and exercised other methods of keeping us informed. We have currently begun our boat house and Burnett Construction is our builder and hope they are yours too."
